Admission Intakes in Germany

In Germany, there are primarily two main admission intakes for international students at the university level:

Winter Semester

This intake typically begins in October and is considered the primary intake for most programs. The application deadline for the winter semester is usually around July to August of the same year.

Summer Semester

The summer semester intake starts in April. However, it’s important to note that not all universities offer admission for all programs during the summer semester. The application deadline for this intake is generally around January to February.

Winter Intake
